Proposal, not upstream. Open Collective has no rupee payment method today — its four rails are Stripe, PayPal, Wise and internal transfers. This is what we would add.

You can stop this any time from your own dashboard. Payments are handled by Razorpay; Aikyam India never sees your card or UPI details.
Why this page looks the way it does
UPI is first and card is second. Upstream leads with card because its rails are American. For an Indian contributor that ordering is backwards.
The fee is shown but not added. The Collective absorbs it. Showing it keeps the promise of transparency; adding it to the total would make a ₹1,000 contribution cost ₹1,023.60, which nobody expects.
Monthly is the default. Recurring contributions are what make a budget plannable. This is a deliberate nudge and worth arguing about.
“No fee to you” is a badge, not a footnote. UPI genuinely costs the Collective nothing on most transactions, and that is a real reason to choose it.
Known gaps
No tier selection — this shows the custom-amount path only.
The final step, where Razorpay’s own payment sheet opens, is not drawn. That interface belongs to Razorpay and we cannot restyle it.
No error states: declined payment, expired UPI collect request, or a contributor who closes the tab mid-payment. All three happen and all three need designing.
Nothing here is wired up. It is HTML, not the product.
